I'm running 295/30/19's PSS on FI's without any rubbing. I'm lowered with Ohlins as well.
Cool, thanks for sharing. PSS has a rounded shoulder which helps with fitment. Good to know it works for you with the FI. You know what camber you are running?

It's really going to come down to millimeters - literally. I have experimented with a number of rear wheel tire sizes and offsets and found that et25 is necessary for a true rub-free setup. However some tires are more round than others - like the PSS. But there's also different versions of certain tires which may run wider than others. For example, the N-spec (porsche) 295 might be a little wider than the regular 295. And then you have to consider alignment specs and the car's tolerances (there is variation between cars). And has the rear sub frame been dropped, new bushings installed, etc. All these little things can stack up to nothing, or to a few mm of reduced or added clearance. Furthermore, the PSS might work but every other tire might not - therefore you are limited to only one specific tire in that size. Et25 does away with most of these issues.

a subjective opinion, i think the FI looks better on E9X M3 than FI-R, FI-R feels very aggressive and more angled and matches the F8X better, FI-R on the E9X M3 will draw too much attention on the wheel and not the entire car

I don't know the camber setting, Carbahn Autoworks did the alignment. One other item to note is that 265/30/19's on the front are too small diameter to match to the 295/30/19's on the back. I should have gone with 265/35/19's and will in the future.

That front size will rub the liner and you don't need to match the rear diameter since OE had a smaller diameter front. It won't hurt if you don't mind a little liner rub at full lock. I'm sure a little extra sidewall height would be welcomed.

I tried 265/35 on those wheels before sizing down to the 265/30. They made the car pretty hard to drive and my fender liner was wrecked.

Tire Rack doesn't seem to carry the MPSS anymore in 265/30 and 295/30. Guess I'm going to order the MPS4S on a wing and a prayer. Found it pretty easy to sell my 255/275/35 setup currently on there.

Section Width of 295/30/19 MPSS is 11.8.
Section Width of 295/30/19 MPS4S is 11.9.

Like you said gonna be close!

You can always do 275/30/19 in the front.

When you look up the 275/30/19 and 295/30/19 pairing on TireRack it only shows MPS4S and not MPSS. I wonder why.

Sometimes their site is a little quirky. I often double check by "searching by brand" and looking at Available sizes for the tire I want manually

Bumping this thread.

I know everyone is saying the FI-R offset of +35mm in the rear is not ideal. But what if you pair it with a 305/30 tire?

The high offset would help out with such a wide tire, right? Plus the 305/30 is closer to OEM OD. Thoughts?

305 is a little wide for a 10.5. I would prefer a 295 in this instance. A 295 with a spacer isn't a problem.
