This was allegedly photographed in a airplane hangar in spain.
However, as per the thread i found after posting (link below), it appears to be a PS, a good one at that, but a PS nonetheless.

I think that's a bastardized attempt at an M1? There was a rumor of BMW producing a mid engine supercar but I don't remember it ever surfacing.

A pretty good photoshop but a photoshop, nonetheless.

Looks to be based off a stock photo of an Audi R8. Look at the rear side panel between the B-pillar and C-pillar as well as the rear quarter window.
