BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
I'm selling my practically brand new wheels. Specs are:

1) Finish is brushed aluminum face and polished lips - no chrome
2) Front is 20x9 255/30/20 with Toyo T1-R tires
3) Rear is 20x10 275/30/20 with Toyo T1-R tires
4) TPMS included

The wheels are pretty much perfect with just under 2k miles. No curb rash and no rubbing with four people in the car. Wheels alone retail for approx. $5k. Price is $3,800 with split shipping/paypal.

Here's some pics:

Reason for selling is I've decided to track the car some and don't want to have two sets of wheels so I'm going back to a 19" wheel.

Thanks!
Barry

Hi,

I'll check the measurements tonight but I think the front is approx. 2.0" and rear is approx. 4".

As far as ride quality is concerned, I had the OEM 19" prior to these wheels and I do sense a marginal increase in stiffness and road feel. The difference is not significant. It still passes the "wife" test for sure as she still likes riding in the car.

As a matter of fact, I think the ride quality is better than either my '02 or '06 M3s. On those cars, I had the stock suspension, Bilstein PSS9's on the '02 and GC street/track with 450/550lb springs front/rear of the '06 and 18" & 19" wheels and this car still rides better with 20" wheels than any set up I had on the E46 cars. None of these setups passed the wife test as she complained frequently about how stiff they were.

In any event, the character of this car is relatively unchanged with the eibachs and 20" wheels. Let me know if you have additional questions.

Thanks,
BC

Good to hear you are going to track the car. Everyone should.. that's what they are made for!
