Put down my deposit this evening
And I'm going to the dealer Friday to get the rest of the paperwork and finalize my loan.
Details: E90 LeMans Blue Silver Novillo Premium Package Technology Package 19s heated front seats fold-down rear seats iPod/USB adapter smartphone integration alarm PDC I'm still up in the air about satellite radio since it won't work over here but I might do it just because it's only $350 (I could swear it was a no-cost option for 2010 models) and it's better to have it and not need it than the other way around. It's gonna be a long couple of months. |

I can still change it but I won't. I have 9 and 13 year old girls, those shades wouldn't last a week. lol Plus I don't want to risk the rattles on the rear deck with the stereo, which will be very, very upgraded. Not all the crash/boom stuff a lot of people do. I'm doing a SQ setup but there's still a risk of rear deck rattles with the sunshade.
The Welt delivery was on my wish list but my wife is deploying in early February and I'm trying to get a TDY around the same time. Since we don't have an exact date on when she's leaving I'm not sure if she'll still be here when the car is ready and I was told I have to pick a date from the get-go. Worst case we'll do the tour/museum when she gets back. Thanks for all the support guys. I can't wait! |

I got my build month email today. Two actually. The first telling me it was December and that no more changes could be made and a second telling me again that my build month is December and that I had until 15 November to make changes. LMAO!

Those wanting Sirius that did not specify it when ordering will require the entire radio to be replaced.

I had them add it to the order. For the price I couldn't see not ordering it. I'm not sure how it'll work for me because the radio/HDD is going to be swapped for a US version when I PCS back to the US but I'll make sure they put a Sirius radio in. I'll take my invoice when I drop it off just to make sure there aren't any problems. My SA did say the 1-year subscription doesn't start until I activate it though so that's good news.

Update time!
Got my bill of sale from Pentagon so I can register the car tomorrow and then pick it up Monday or Tuesday. Is it sad that I'll be in Paris this weekend with my family and not really be thinking about the city???? |

While shes trying to enjoy Paris, just keep talking about the M3... maybe she will then get sick of you and tell you to leave!

No, she'd know that's what I'd want and make me stay. She also said she'd not go with me to unregister my old car and register this one. Yeah, it's kind of a process over here. Ugh.
The balls she's got me by. But I've already waited since May, a few more days won't kill me. I do like you're guys' thinking though. |

THE EAGLE HAS LANDED!!!! I had the dealer swap out the 19s with my winter set for the drive home and add the wheel locks and got my iPod cable and I'm good to go! Still have to start going through my settings and making my changes but I'm so stoked! The Autobahn was back up most of the drive home but at one point I was cruising and noticed I was doing about 105MPH! It's so quiet and stable it's scary.
Before anyone asks, I didn't get any pics. I was too busy grinning like an idiot while humping the fender. I can't thank the guys at Pentagon and Euler BMW enough. This is gonna be gooooooood. |

CONGRATS MAN! I know how you felt today! I felt the same way May 2008 when I picked mine up! I could not stop smiling all evening after I picked it up...
