I'm in the process of making 285-30-18/280-650-18 square fit my e46.
Yeah, appears some e9x M3s have more fender liner clearance than other e9x M3s

On my track-prep'd e46 M3 I would run 275/35-18 R-Comps and had room (inside/outside, no fender rolling) to spare. 285 on the R would have been easy to fit but on the F it may just slightly make contact with the Moton 2-way remote-reservoir damper. Good luck - your car will have great grip and balance with 285 square (full slick) tires

Yeah I'm finding that out seems my e46 has less room than most. Fenders are already rolled and still rub a decent amount on fender liners. Next is pulling. I already have a huge amount of grip as you know from your past cars 285 square should be divine.

I’m trying to fit a 9.5 on the front 15 offset could that work?

I am running 19x10 et25 in front with 275/30/19, no rubbing issues.

You should be fine but what tire size, camber and ride height are you running?

A 9.5et15 will stick out ~0.15” more than a 10et25.
