Leasing Prices on a 2011 E90 M3 "Sedan"

Whats going on M3 lovers,

My lease on my 328i is ending in march and i had purchased my car in 08' which qualifies me for 3 moth early turn in free of charge if i grab another BMW. I plan on getting the M3 sedan 2011 or
"2010"model which i doubt will be available.

So my question is, are there any people out the leasing the M3 now that are aware of pricing on those bad boys around the january new year season or the slightest idea, please let me know if your leasing one now tell me how much your paying and which options included only if leased recently (With-in 2 months) only if you have the 2011 model.

Current Holiday credit of $1500 + a lower MF for November helps the e90 M3 numbers, but nothing is coming close to e93 lease rates, man they are giving those things away....

OP: you know there is an entire section dedicated to pricing, ordering, and tracking...might spend some time in that section....GL

The discount from MSRP was not huge, but he is in a high mileage lease at 24 months, but 42,000 miles. That can be murder on the residual.

If you need that many miles over a short period of time... you shouldn't be leasing a car...

Payment would have been almost the same if you financed over 4 years... and then you own the car

Guys, if you do the math between a purchase and a lease it is almost identical. Take a look at the pricing on a used 2008 e90 M3 with 40K+ miles. The car is probably going to trade hands in the high $30K range on a mid $60K sticker. Call the difference $29K and then add interest on a $65K loan and divide by 24. It comes out to around $1500/mo.

For those that say pay cash look at the opportunity cost of capital. Without the extenuating circumstances of the recession an average of 8% per year of lost appreciation and then you lose the $29K on top of that when you sell two years later. That also does not take into effect the soft cost of trying to sell a high mileage car. Dealer trade on the car is probably low $30's.

Sorry for the rant, but all of this purchase is better than leasing and I pay cash for my cars BS is a joke. You come out the same no matter what you do. The real difference is what you negotiate on the purchase price. BTW I bought my car and did not lease so this is not coming from a person that leases.

Dealers arent stupid, in the end it usually costs the same either way. If it was such a better deal one way or the other no one would either lease or buy. Only way to come out somewhat ahead is negotiate a great deal on a leftover previous model year, pay cash and keep the car for 10+ years (assuming it has no major issues), not many do that.

I knew the economics majors would come out once I posted that. My last car went 50k miles in 21 months before I turned it in on this one. These are the same lease terms (mileage and duration) as on the previous e90. However, the residual was 2 pts lower on the current lease with a slighty better MF. The 2009 payment was $1436.

I have a hard time keeping a car for even two years. The lease costs are a business expense.
