I sort of dig the red backing of the g8x paddles and played around with my new evolve paddles. Tacky? Maybe but I'm liking it. Used red baseball bat grip on Amazon for $6. It's not perfect but I'd say It's about 90% there. The quality of these paddles are amazing by the way. Very solid and OE+ quality.

That’s pretty cool. I’ve got a set in titanium finish that I have yet to install as I’m waiting on a new alcantara M Performance wheel to arrive. I had the very same idea …. I might give it a go after seeing this. So easily reversible if I end up not liking it.

Absolutely agree about the high quality of the pieces!
