Sounds much better. To clarify can you show a pic of what you mean exactly with the bottom section of the cowl that was removed?

In the most recent video with the Karbonius I removed the bottom section of the cowl and the weatherstrip that seals against the hood. This leaves no barrier between the BMS cowl filters and the engine bay which results in more noise. That looks like this:

For those who have inquired, I'm not going to be selling either setup. I'm keeping the Karbonius on my car and my mom is taking the Eventuri setup off my hands for her E92 M3.
Also, I picked up a new OEM paper filter and weighed it at 1lb 7oz for a savings of 11oz over the MS filter. I'll be swapping that in to see if it makes a noticeable difference in sound one way or the other.

Jeeez the cowl delete makes a big difference. Can you do the same test for us with the eventuri, perhaps when you put it on your moms car?

I won't make any promises as to when, but I can try to get video of that setup at some point. She's currently redoing the driveway at her house so the M3 is tucked away for a bit.

Here is a quick clip of the CarboProject Euro Export Plenum, this is the thinner version so it's louder.
I seriously need to get a better recording setup, using my Samsung ZFold 2 to record this. Just a little quick 3-5k. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Wms...ew?usp=sharing |

GoPro Hero 9 on my head doing the video and audio. Everything is OEM but the plenum and the muffler. Most of of this is recorded with the windows up. With windows down the wind noise can be distracting depending on speed.

No new videos, but a little bit of eye candy. I can also confirm no difference in sound between the MS and OEM paper filters paired with the Karbonius.

I prefer the sound and look of the Eventuri one. Which is what I aim to fit to my e92 next. Currently have the MPE only and like it but I need intake noise.
Think I’ll skip the intake etc and just fit the plenum. |

p.s. I did the Eventuri piecemeal - first plenum then intake then airbox lid. Each step changed the sound and made it slightly louder. The full system is best imo. |

Running the Eventuri plenum with Dinan intake. I'm running test pipes with the ACM exhaust mod. I feel like this combo almost completely drowns out the plenum. A bit disappointed but I guess it looks cool while I debate if I should quiet down my exhaust setup.

How loud is your exhaust? I drove in AKKANDO e90 M3 and could definitely hear/fell the plenum over his Corsa. My Eventuri Plenum is on its way and hopefully my DINAN exhaust not too loud.
