Sounds like a good price to me - at least for European markets.

Not sure about the States Did you schedule a PPI?

This car has some sought after options including 6MT and carbon fiber roof, so price sounds right, but the crucial item is PPI and confirming everything you're seeing.

For me the PPI was the icing on the cake confirming everything I saw, so hopefully the same result will apply for you.

Good luck!

What's with the euro bumper? Is the original owner an enthusiast otherwise that's a red flag unless you can pinpoint the reasoning. PPI completed I think that's a solid price for the condition given everything checks out.

It's an understable change, but I agree that for a US car in the US market it needs / should be clarified during the PPI and sale.

If the previous owner changed because of looks, fine. If it's changed because of a fender-bender, also maybe acceptable. If the front end was severely hit and there was a lot of work done, maybe best to walk away.

Hence allow me to repeat myself: PPI. You guys in the states are so lucky, that this procedure is common with sellers & dealers - but here in Europe, it is rare to have such an opportunity to have all details of a car checked and somewhat approved.

Looked at this car yesterday and was extremely disappointed in the quality of the exterior. Carmax did some serious touchup during the photoshop process. Sadly I had to walk away from it.

The front bumper is not Euro Spec. It has the corner markers... From that alone you could only imagine how much photo touchup happened.

can you elaborate more on the cosmetic flaws? Thought carmax had decent condition cars. how come the car is not on their website?

If someone reserved it, it's off the website unless you have the specific link when it was still available.
