I dont have a butt dyno sadly, only a smile one.

When I push right foot down M3 V8 makes angry noises and goes fast, and smiles appear.

I'm having trouble finding anything in Dallas right now besides 87 octane due to a shortage caused by the hurricane. I just had to fill my second tank of 87 gas in the last week. Should I add an octane boster? I'm still on the look out for higher octane to top it off with.

I would add an octane booster. While today's engines have knock sensors that will retard timing to help avoid engine damage, I wouldn't bet the life of an engine that is worth a 5 digit sum to replace on it, particularly not one with a very high compression ratio (like ours) and a redline of over 8,000 rpm.
Here in Southeast Florida, premium was readily available after the hurricane. It was regular grade that was in short supply.

During the hurricane I ran two tanks on regular. I paid $8.25 each for the small containers of octane boost. The engine never made a single sound, the booster worked perfectly.

Stop taking your car to the stealership and your pockets will get deeper. If it's something you can't tackle yourself then take it to an independent shop. I recommend taking it Performance Technic in Fremont, CA (tell them I sent you).

I think it would do you some good to find a nice independent workshop to handle your service needs. Parts are parts and there's hardly a discount to be found (in most cases), but independent shop labor and expertise will in most cases be better than the dealership. I would strongly suggest you take some time to do you research so you don't get wrecked again and put in tanks of 87 octane
I brought my M3 to my local BMW service center because the steering wheel was shaking at 60mph.

They said they'll balance the tires and if it still shakes they'll swap the "REAR" tires with the the "FRONT" tires and that usually works... yeah maybe on grandmas honda corolla...

So yeah these dealership so called "certified experts" must be certified in swiping my credit card because it can't mean anything else.

I just saw a RWD car (is300) with a severe "reverse stagger" like this and had no clue what to make of it. Maybe this happened to him lol!

I'm sure it's happened a lot lol. Toyota would be a main culprit considering all their cars are fwd and the ones that aren't still have symmetric wheel sizes "oil change and tire rotation only $24.99 this weekend only!"

Yes, Running the car under octane does not only affect your fuel explosiveness (the amount of compression a fuel can withstand before inciting)

I would definitely suggest an octane booster in the car or get your hands on some 98 octane. Im a supplier of racing fuels in South Africa, so to my fellow SAFA's give me a shout if you're looking for 98 unleaded, 102unleaded, 106supreme, napalm, watermeth, thermite.
