Everyone with myself included are disappointed. I expect that a true Limited Edition to actually have something limited about it.

There is NOTHING new or original on this car. Everything on there can be sadly found on eBay from China starting with the eBrAke handle.

I would give credit if this was anything more than a marketing tool to squeeze out a few more sales.

Where is the power upgrade? Wide body modification? Special wheels? Suspension upgrades? Racing components?

Just a few things to "consider" for those who deserve the consideration.

Saw this color M3 Coupe car today inside the BMW VDC in Oxnard. I don't care for silver colors anyway and this color wasn't anything I would consider getting on any vehicle.

80K for adding CF interior and a $15 e-bay hand brake? C'mon BMW, put the real stuff in there!

By the way, did they raise the front suspension? That gap looks awful, I'm surprised no one made any comments about it.

the shipping suspension blocks are still on that's why there is a gap

I have the upmost respect for those who worked on the concept, however, from one who has spent a fair amount of time in the E92 on (and off) the track there are real "competition" issues with the car. It seems there could have been some fundamental thoughts given to the concept rather than letting the project be market driven instead of performance driven. Take a page from the Porsche 911 GT3 book as a starter.

Again, respect for the effort, just disappointed in the release.

This is why I started hating BMW these past few years. This is a limited edition car? I dont see anything special about it.. I think frozen grey looks better on an e46 than an e92. That ebrake handle looks so cheap.. Lookout ebay you're about to get hit with a bunch of those handles real soon.

You hate BMW just because they put out a limited to 40 units model that you dont like but wouldn't be buying anyway? Nevermind the decades and current batch of excellent models/cars!

what is it about bluetooth and ipod connectivity-and for that matter navigation-being standard on an $81,000 car does BMW not understand? this is just an opportunity for BMW to sell what by now costs them $35-40k to make to dealers for $72k so that they can then mark them up to $90k to some poor folks who will be wowed by the term "limited edition"

If I dont like it, I dont like it. Sorry bro dunno what else to tell you. BMW puts out a limited production car of 40 units and delivers pretty much the same M3 thats been out for the past 3 years. I only see very little difference.

Just because there are only 40 units available doesnt mean I have to like it.

Ah, you're right. They're both OEM, but I like Marwan's better. I wonder why BMW changed the design for the Competition Edition.
