You left out the best part. Leno knows Clarkson will bash the show.

just like when Hamster put a Ducatti on the "cool wall".....Clarkson hate it so he had to chainsaw it out...

IMO, it'd be a lot smarter to just use BBC Top Gear as American Top Gear. Get a contract to run it on one of the big networks, and bingo, there's your American Top Gear.

I heard somewhere on the net that Adam Corolla was being considered for a host.... don't entirely know what that means.

But either way I know this American Top Gear will be a complete joke. Look at the host of every other car show out there, even Pinks. I just laugh whenever I watch any serious automotive program that the US produces, it's all bullshit...

Ya I posted a thread about that a month ago. According to Edmund's Insideline Carolla is a potential host.
