Supercharger manifold lifting

Hey Gang. I'm having issues with the Manifold lifting in the rear. It eventually works its way loose from the throttle bodies. I was wondering what you guys were doing to prevent this. I have the VF 620 kit.
Would you recomment another BOV/BPV or a waste-gate? Thanks for the information!

1. either tighten clamps or replace the clamps.

2. see if t bolt clamps will fit in that tight spot (prob not and prob not needed running low boost)

3. Take off mani and use HAIR SPRAY on couplers. This will work great!

4. All else fails get tabs/brackets from manifold

Gonna give the hairspray bit a try. And I think Chris at Casto Motorsport is going to make a bracket to hold the Mani down. Thanks for tips. This is the first time its happened to me. But I know its been an issue for a few guys out there.

Just dealt with this very same issue on a VF650 that was passing through for MFest/Bimmerfest last week.

It's likely the intake clamps/boots are worn and need to be replaced, parts are not that expensive from your dealer.

Yup, Tom took care of this for me the other week. New boots and clamps, around $100 in parts

For the bottom clamps on the intake hoses they are one time usage only. Would it make a difference if I just use a normal adjustable clamp on the bottom as long as it is the same size? I ordered the rubber hoses but forgot to order the bottom clamps as I though they were re-useable.

No problem, as long as there is absolutely no interference from the clamps to the throttle linkage. Any binding will cause the engine to go into limp mode.
