Gintani Tune Group Buy - $650

Cancelled

Didnt like that you have to pay for a non burble map separately and any changes to maps incurred costs.

Going with Alex at Alpine MSS and there's a group buy atm:

Had various types of Gintani tunes. 15K miles in total no issues. At 70k on the car now. Currently running the extreme burble tune. Not for everyone, but I like it.

Would this include the E85 part of the tune?

Does this tune/software give you the ability to switch between tunes, such as a stage 1 vs. stage 2 tune if you go catless in the future?

No that's extra. Usually it's 500$ more but with the group buy it's an extra 250$.

The difference between stage 1 and stage 2 is the CEL that you get for being catless. Alex preloads this into all the tunes already so there wouldn't have to be a switch.

Thanks for the info. I'm trying to decide between Alpine and Gintani tunes, so just gathering information. If the group buy gets to 20 then that's a great deal.

I was actually looking at Evolve which is $599 (+200 for remote aka DIY). Which is still less than Gintani and also a proven tune. Both seem to be very good so I was going on price at this point.

Only thing about the Evolve tune is that I don't see any local dealers. Just in case an update or issue comes up, I like to have the option of dealing with someone local.

I'm curious who this tuner you mentioned is? Can you state the name of the company?
