Metallic vs Non-Metallic Polish/Wax?

I have a black E90. I've always used Zaino for my cars, but my brother convinced me to try 1Z PolishWax and Glanz Wax.

Now this is probably a really stupid question, but does it matter at all which PolishWax I buy? 1Z offers a product for metallic and non-metallic cars. Since the car has a clear-coat over the paint, would it really matter?

As far as I can tell, the black on my car is not metallic, but the non-metallic product costs more. I also don't want to fuck my paint up. I doubt it matters, it is probably all the same shit, but I would imagine if anyone had an answer, it would be here.
