problem with clear side markers already..

so after only a few days, the right side is getting water inside and looks terrible.

have any of you had this problem? If so, is there a fix? or am I stuck with these and is it because I ordered from the guy in Taiwan so I get Taiwan quality? LOL

hated...

may have to put the orange back in...

Why don't you use a small amount of clear silicone behind the reflector to keep the water out?

Sorry to hear about the side marker problems. We don't offer the clear ones because they are not OEM parts. We use the OEM reflectors for all of our tinted and painted reflectors.

I have had mine on the car for about two months and I haven't had any problems. Mine appear to be the same build quality as the OEM orange version.

Same here. I compared mine with the OEM orange reflectors, and the quality seemd the same. If I get the same issue, I'll just switch to the IND painted ones, but I prefer the look of the clears.

Ya, I think that's what I'll as the painted ones are OEM reflectors.
I too think the clear look best but I'm going to give the painted a try.
any of them look better than OEM Orange... very ugly, they don't blend in.

I also now have quite a bit of moisture INSIDE the reflector. I removed the reflector and the water is actually trapped inside the casing. There doesn't seem to be a way to get it out without cracking the casing. Any ideas? And no, the solution is not to go buy painted reflectors. I don't like the painted look and prefer clear.

Probably the same type as they had for the E46 - stamped chrome metal behind clear plastic. As others have said, trash them and get painted. AFAIK, there are no OEM quality clears, and you won't find a way to keep the water out. There are quality products from Taiwan, but these aren't them.

Get the IND painted reflectors and avoid the Bimmians like the plague (well ,until they fix their fitment issues), another option is to just fill them in.

Yeah, I decided that although I don't like the look of painted reflectors as much as clear ones, I prefer the look of a painted reflector over one that has moisture/condensation in the lens! So, l just ordered an AW set from wheelsto.com, which I understand, is made by IND.
