Will the Indy shops in the area be able to figure this out?

I made a thread about my DSC issue but I'm not getting any feedback. I'm kind of stumped at this point. Thinking about taking my car to GT Pace or RRT. Or should I just go to the dealer?

Thanks.

I've always suggested RRT. Prices are slightly higher sometimes but they've never let me down.

GT Peace has great techs and will work hard to figure out your issue. They are the only shop I have been taking my M3 to for anything I can't handle.

Well, I made an appointment with GT Peace for Tuesday. Hopefully they can figure it out.

I had a ABS wheel speed sensor go bad (rear left) but in my case i had my ABS light also come on. I used a foxwell which shows all 4 wheel speeds while your driving and could clearly see no mph reading from the rear left, the other three were reading fine.

Have you tried just resetting your battery.

I have not tried resetting my battery. How do I do that?
Thanks.

Just disconnect the negative terminal with a 10mm wrench, leave it disconnected for 5-10 minutes, and sometimes this will reset certain electronic messages or resolve some electronic gremlins..

I know from some of the posts that the speed sensors and steering wheel sensor can cause these kind of messages as well...

Have you checked with Carly to see if all four of your sensors provide a reading?

Sorry i can't be of anymore help, good luck..

According to the the guys at GT peace the DSC control unit needs to be replaced. There is a discrepancy in the amount of brake pressure the unit sends to the wheels.
They have to replace it, bleed the system, and code the part to the car.
The part is coming from Germany so I'm taking it back to them around the end of the month.
So far, I'm getting good vibes from this shop and they seem to know what they're doing.
I'll update the thread once it's done.
Oh and BTW, it's going to be expensive.

That sucks, when i had ABS/DSC problem, i was fearing the DSC module but lucked out and it was only a speed sensor. But check some of the older DSC posts as some have the module rebuilt for 200-300 bucks from a company on eBay, which avoids coding and you get a rebuilt unit.

I picked up the car yesterday and the issue has been resolved. The DSC control unit was replaced, coded to the car, and system flushed.

Glad it worked out for you. Hate to think of the repair bill, but at least it's done.
