Coverageone extended warranty
Anyone here have experience with coverageone?
My car is modified with Dinan software, Dinan suspension, 20 inch wheels, and full AA exhaust. BMW dealer offering me the warranty says that the mods will not void any warranty coverage. I am told the dealer files the claim, and only new OEM parts are used. |

I have CoverageOne Ultimate and today I took my 08 sedan into the dealer to replace the throttle actuator valve. Price of the part is $2,700 plus labor(dealer hasn't told me how much)
1st indication from the dealer from whom I purchased the warranty was I am not covered. Today they think I am. I will know Monday, stay tuned. Part of the adventure is that the dealer didn't register me properly and was told I didn't have a policy. I proved payment and showed card with policy no. In fact I have 2 cards with 2 different policy numbers, 1 with $200 deductible, the other with $50 deductible. I told the dealer I won't roll over; stay tuned |

Thanks for staying tuned, the outcome is the dealership accepted payment by visa, but never forwarded the premium to CoverageOne hence the cancelation of the policy. The dealership admitted the mistake, got the policy reinstated and the throttle valve actuator is covered and paid for by CoverageOne in the amount of $2,607.30, to make things right the dealership paid 1/2 of the $200 deductible. Happy at last. Net saving after paying the premium is $607.30
