Several DTM Champion Edition M3 Models at BMW Niederlassung Munich

There is a new limited edition M3 in town... and it is called: Bruno Spengler M3 DTM Champion Edition Model [Official Details]

To celebrate Bruno Spengler's fantastic championship win in DTM last year, BMW have built only 54 copies of this rare M3. Why only 54 cars? Simple, one car for every BMW DTM win from 1984 to 2012! Each of the 54 cars will come in frozen black just like Bruno's DTM racer. The street car comes standard with: special carbon bits, ///M tri color stripes on the exterior, BMW M logo behind the front wheel arch or a logo on the rear side windows also remember - at least visually - the genes from BMW Motorsport. All to give you that "DTM feeling".

Inside you will find an Alcantara steering wheel, handbrake grip embroidered and full leather with extended black Novillo leather with contrasting color palladium silver.

Mechanically this limited edition M3 is just like every regular production M3... but it does have such niceties as: Competition Package, M Drive, the M DCT Drive logic and the M Driver's Package are included. In addition, complementary features such as the navigation system Professional, Park Distance Control, Heated seats. The car also come with an Akrapovic titanium exhaust system with carbon fiber tips. prices for the limited edition Bruno M3 start at 99.999 euros. All are sold except for these four, seen here at the BMW Niederlassung München last night.

They have # 26 for sale at the dealer where I picked up my 335i. Way out in nowhere, Pressath. They make a lot of money though, pairing with the BMW Military sales up there. It's crazy they want like 108,000 Euro for it. But, beautiful black car! I'd love a test drive. Hmmm...

how many "limited" edition M3s do we need? ridiculous. why not do something useful like bringing the M3 GTS to the US?

Leave the customizations to each individual who purchases an M vehicle. By doing stuff like this, from factory it's becoming "ricer-like". (Yea, I came up with that term myself lol)

Sucks when a great company goes blah because of their desire to make as much money as possible regardless of what it does to their brand. Apple did/doing it, now BMW is following suit...smh

i get that complaint aimed at m sport packages for non M cars in BMW's line up, but how is the LRP edition a "watering down" of the M brand?

it's the same exact car as any other M3.

you may want something more special in a limited edition that what BMW has offered....fine. but that doesn't mean that any of the special edition M3s are any less "M" than regular M cars.
