That's actually sonar to locate other mustangs on the road...I'm sure most owners end up putting it on mute.

Yes it does. But thats the funny part of it. Why would this car need it?

Another weird thing was that if you put the gear stalk in S, you use these little +/- buttons located on the stalk where the usual button you press to put an auto in P/R/N/D is (with thumb). Very strange. I'm also 5'8" on a good day and my knees where touching the bottom of the dash where steering column is.

force meter. Really not needed for street car. Most of force they will see is 1.5g max from braking and 1.2g from side.

You must be all legs cause I'm 6'7" and can drive a Mustang just fine.

Really? I put the seat at the lowest position and had to seat farther back than normal because if close my knees were hitting the column when moving around.

I just used left foot braking to remedy the problem.
