OEM Mod with test pipes or an x-pipe that deletes the primary cats (the portion of the process that yields the power) will sound horrible. Think chainsaw.

I recommend the MS drop-in filter and pulley at the same time. You'll feel (and hear) it.

I find its the best of them all, you just got to get rid of the primary cats (and maybe secondaries) to let it truly breathe. Their design is basically a straight pipe from the headers back, except for two 45 degree turns for the mid section.

Their intake is expensive, but pretties up the engine bay, sounds good, and is always a solid and well-fitting piece unlike the mangled ill-fitting chunks of plastic I've seen with some MS intakes. MS = EAS, so they are basically the generic/store brand version od whatever you're gettinh. You get what you pay for.

Alas catless is not an option for me, unless I move.

Best stuff I've gotten is Dinan monoballs and rear toe link. Also BPM software replaced my Dinan- revs better and long term increase from 12.8 to 13.8 MPG. For reasonable $ I would suggest above plus Dinan pulley and camber plates and whatever exhaust sounds best to YOU.

Anyone knows the difference between dinan tune stage 1 and stage 2 other than clearing check engine light?

Ok I'm new to the car, and I know the mileage will be bad and happily do not care, but is it REALLY 12-13 mpg ?!

The DINAN intake is a fantastic piece, I had it on my car and loved it before supercharging.
