Picked up a set of the H8 and took them to get installed - was told there was an issue with condensation if I installed them and on top of that, it'd cost me another $700 bucks to get them put in. Is my body shop off their rocker? Anywhere I can get this installed in socal (I'm in San Diego) without spending 1k for new headlights?

The shop doesn't know what they are talking about. When you install the LUX h8's the power supply will go inside the headlgiht compartment and the cover will go back on. Once the cover is back in place it will remain water tight just like before.

The lights are designed to be installed by yourself and we have a full installation guide you can follow as well. the headlights are tight to work in but there is a glass shield over the LED's so they cant get damaged on install

Through the form on your website which I do suspect may not be workint right, which is what I meant. Thank you for the pic, do you think the v8 or the adjustable color ones would be brighter/more even between the rings?

The online form is working correctly, not sure what the issue was for you.

Overall the LUX H8 189 are slightly brighter then the V6's, but both are still over 2x brighter then the stock lights.
