Modeled after the Individual Color thread, here is the Individual Interior thread. I'll add additional links to pictures in this post as other examples are identified in this thread and elsewhere. Also, I have tried to consolidate some information provided by "Technic," "Mark's M," "cracker123" and others that have been discussed in various threads.
Link to BMW M3 Individual catalog.
The options above are some of the items seen. Of course, if you talk to the right people and are willing to spend more money, there are more possibilities (e.g., additional leather pieces, color-coded plastics, bicolor interiors and steering wheels, laser-stenciled Piano Black trim ....). Pricing information (for U.S. customers) that members have recieved for Individual interior options are included below. Apparently, pricing is subject to change based on Euro-U.S. Dollar exchange rate fluctuations.
How do you get an Individual interior (or other options through the Individual Program)? This link provides some information for what a dealer needs to do. However, it would be best to work through a dealer that has ordered an Individual M3 before since many don't know about the process, don't have the right "connections," or are not interested in putting in that extra effort. There are at least two dealers who are represented on M3post who have ordered Individual M3s for several members. You can also talk to one of the forum members who ordered through the Individual Program. If you have an uninformed dealer or your request is "unusual," you may need to work directly with BMWNA. Also, apparently most Individual requests are not approved. However, if you request something the same or similar to what has been done before, then your chances of approval should be much higher. Enjoy the pictures, - Tom Last edited by H2; 11-09-2011 at 07:47 PM.. |

Yes they do. They can be ordered through the Individual program. A few people in the U.S. have ordered Individual interiors, including the person with the Platinum interior pictures and the person who posted just above.

BTW thanks for making this post. Helpful for first time buyers.
The price for the convertible on Platinum -- Wholesale -- MSRP ZAC8 (Ind)Platinum extended leather -- 2350 -- 2575 XE8 (Ind) Piano Finish Black Trim -- 985 -- 1080 As Technic pointed out the Ind leather is cheaper on the convertible vs coupe because convertible already has the extended leather price in the msrp. |

The atlantis blue is great, if I had seen this before. I would have probably done, black stitching on the platinum with black leather inserts similar to the atlantis blue champaign. Also the exterior color would have been ruby black and not jerez black. I thought the exterior might not be worth the price but a color will definitely make it different.
