Ethanol Free 90 octane or Shell 93 with E10?

What is better gas for the S65? Ethanol free 90 octane with octane boost supplemental or the Shell 93 octane with “ethanol equalizer.”
Here is write up for ethanol equalizer “https://pmilubricants.com/wp-content...ubricants.pdf”

I would totally use non-ethanol fuel over any ethanol--if money wasn't too much of a concern.

There are more BTUs in non-ethanol vs 10% ethanol. So your power&mileage will be slightly higher. 114k BTU vs 110k BTU. So about... 1% worth--maybe more depending on. BUT, that's just based upon my numbers I searched. Depending on summer fuel vs winter fuel could also vary this quite a bit.

Based on years of use, I haven't found a difference between the two driving on track or daily use.

If I'm storing the car for the winter, it gets filled with ethanol free 91 octane. Every other time, I'm filling it up with 93 octane Shell fuel since it's a good option and cheaper than ethanol free.

Yeah. That's an excellent point. If the vehicle is being stored--it's best with ethanol free fuel as it will last longer.

What if the fuel is only 90 octane ethanol free and I put “ethanol equalizer” in it? Intending to help it last longer and increases octane by up to 4 points. Unfortunately, we only have 90 octane ethanol free where I live.

I'm guessing you're just trying to eliminate any and all water that might form in the tank? Then yeah, I think that could be a decent preventable measure.

But for octane boosters, I'd be leery of extra deposits left over from the methods used to do so.

I have no idea how this ethanol equalizer works, but I know it brought back a couple of engines. I’ve been using it for my 2 other cars with no issues. The M3 is my retirement car and is only driven in good weather, so it sits during the winter.
