Should I sell my E92 Comp. w manual @ 39k miles?
I am new to the site but have been a BMW owner most of my life. I have a 2013 M3 competition with a manual transmission and 39k miles. I am the 2nd owner and I got it from the BMW dealer used. I am just curious if I should sell now or hold onto it? Thank you.

I do. But worry it sits more than it drives. I am a single dad of 6.5 yr old twins. I had hoped I could give it to my son but 10 yrs is a long time. . .

If you are fine keeping up with insurance, registration and any other reoccurring expenses then I recommend keeping it if you enjoy driving it. The E9x M3 is a special car with a bespoke engine that BMW will not make again. Trying to find one like yours years from now will be very tough and very expensive I imagine.
I buy and sell cars far too frequently but something about driving my E92 makes me want to hold onto it for a long time. Unless I somehow am able to afford a 997.2 GT3 RS (…sigh one day…) 😂

I have a 2012 e92 M3 and, unfortunately, due to medical issues I had to sell my other ‘09 e92 M3 DCT with ~35k miles + fully modified. These two were supposed to be forever cars because there will never be another car like the e92 M3. If you’re able to keep up on the maintenance and yearly oil changes (assuming you’re driving < 5k miles per year) as well as take it out once or twice a month and drive the car aggressively then I’d say keep it. It will be an incredible almost-classic first car for your son. I’d absolutely love being given a ~22yo e92 M3 as my first car with one of the last NA V8s made, especially the s65 4.0 L 8400 rpm redline!

Four grandkids and mine is going to my fierce granddaugher who will appreciate it. Getting to the point where I want to sit on my front porch and tell kids to get off my lawn. In all seriousness though, every time I wander to a Z06 or even an older Porsche I just can't bring myself to sell it. Need a bigger garage. If you can keep it, keep it.

It's as simple as if you don't like driving it, sell it. If you do, dont.
