Need Help Identifying This Steering Wheel

Hey all, I’ve done numerous eBay, Google and forum search’s trying to find this steering wheel.

What I’m looking for is nappa leather, flat bottom with the red stripe. I’ve had an M Performance steering wheel and it was way skinnier then factory. This looks very similar to factory with a flat bottom and red stripe!

Thanks for your help in advance!

You can customize that exact wheel with Mashimarho. I had one of their wheels a few years back, quality/workmanship was definitely on par with OEM, but I thought the wheel was skinnier than stock and moved to an Aza wheel.

Yes I too had a M Performance Alcantara from Mashimarho and it was too skinny.

This pictures looks to be OEM thickness

There are places selling custom wheels on Ebay that well let you mix and match wheel styles, materials and stripe colours to your liking. Just search "e90 m3 steering wheel" and you'll see them.

Unfortunately they are all for Manual cars…

You could get a used OEM m performance and have it reupholstered using nappa leather thru coby wheels. FYI, even the alcantara flat bottom from BMW is just a touch skinnier than OEM leather

After months of searching for a DCT flat bottom nappa leather steering wheel with red stripe, I have given up. Everything I find is for manual or not as thick as OEM

Does anyone here know if the OEM M Performance Steering wheel Part Number 32-30-2-212-773 from the dealer is as thick as the OEM Nappa Leather or is it the same as Mashimarho?

Sorry, just to be clear, you bought an OEM M Performance flat bottom steering wheel and had it redone in “thick Alcantara” from Coby?

No, I was just suggesting that for you since you want leather. I bought an OEM m performance for the m3 and kept it original as is. The other picture is from an M2. I was just saying that one comes a lot thicker from BMW. The 3 and 9 o'clock positions on the F8x alcantara wheel are much thicker compared to the E9x. The top and bottom are kind of similar but still a touch thicker on the F8x

Ya I had the M Performance on my previous e92 and was just too thin for my liking. But you just gave me a great idea to call Coby and see if they can rewrap a M Performance Steering wheel in “thick Alcantara”

Thank you very much!

Mike from Coby said it won’t be that much thicker and he doesn’t work with Nappa leather!

Back to the drawing board lol
