Farodo DS2500 worn out already?

Hey all, first post. I replaced oem pads and sensors on my 2008 E92 w Farodo DS2500 and oem sensors prior to my first HPDE a few weeks ago. Have driven less than 1000mi since. Sensor just fired on front brake pads and Idrive is saying front brake pads need to be replaced. Is this even possible? Haven't had time to eyeball the pads yet but has anyone experienced this? I searched the forum but didn't find this issue. Thanks!

You should be able to eyeball the pad material remaining to confirm if it's a sensor issue or actual pad wear. What's more likely to have occurred is that the heat from the track day melted the plastic around the sensor and broke it.

Maybe the sensor fell out and got ripped off.

One track day won't kill these pads unless you're on slicks and ran the car really hard. Hard to speculate, you really have to go eyeball the pads.

Thx. Sensor went off on my way to work and I’m stuck here all evening. Will take a look at the pad w a flashlight when I get home. Was a wet track day so not super fast.

if it was a wet track day, this is 100% a sensor problem.

Checked pads and they look like new. Must be sensor. Thanks!
