I can ask. But it’s a relatively cheap part so savings may be minimal.

Anybody else interested?

I just emailed them since the website includes labor and the 1L. Try the contact function on their site, though note they are slow and short in their responses.

That adpater will be more uncomfortable than you think.

just jack the car and put +1L...done.

I removed that adapter a long time ago.

Lol, damn. I tried adding the +1L this weekend and had the same issue. I thought the running procedure was just for the full fill, not the top off.
To confirm the process: let the car cool down, jack up passenger side for some nice tilt, start car and turns it on, person 1 runs at 2K for 1 minute, while engine is running person 2 opens port and pumps in the ~.5L. Close port, engine off, lower car, off you go.
Is that right for top off procedure (not changing all of the oil)?
Thanks!

Stupid question - after filling the fluid until it leaks from the Banjo, what do you all use to cover the Banjo fitting?

Very few people ultimately run the banjo is what I’ve gathered, sorry I can’t help ya.

Fill while it's running. Shutting it off allows the fluid to settle into the pan again and you end up with less than you wanted.

Super, thanks. So we'll jack the passenger side up and one of us will hold the car at 2K RPM while the other opens the port and pumps in the 1L.
I guess my final question is if the car needs to be cooled down for this as well or if up to temp is fine. I know that matters for the complete service/fill. Seems like it should be cooled down for this as well.

^ Can someone confirm the cool down/temperature for the top-off procedure? Planning to get this done but logistics will change if the car needs to be cooled down. Thanks!

Is there no risk of overfill / frothing when adding 1 quart over stock fill?

Doesn't seem like there would be, but I know that the gears are only a couple inches above the pan.

^ I can't see a downside, but that's also why I'd be satisfied with adding just a half liter. That, and my pan is weeping so I am down a little from the factory fill anyway (and I lost a metric glup-glup when I opened the cap to top it off without the engine running). It's just not weeping enough to justify a full service quite yet.
The GTS adds the fluid, but I can't imagine the enlarged cooler holds even most of that additional capacity.
Running the car with a fill port opened that otherwise wants to spit fluid out seems so weird. This is going to be fun.

I don't think you're supposed to leave the Banjo open. Crud and water would get into the gearbox.

So much is lost from that process that I'd be worried about the line starving when driving, I wouldn't drive until that's fixed. I added almost a full quart at that step.

never leave the banjo open. if you have it open then the fluid can easily backout from the pressure when the transmission gets hot.
depending on the banjo type you have you can get a hose and then cap the end.

I lost hardly any fluid, and the car drove exactly the same after my first attempt.
Yesterday I was able to add a 1/2 L with the tilt and engine running. Feels no different, but I will sleep better at night.

If the DCT fluid is a little low, you'll get a lot of weird errors and behavior from the transmission, from what others have said. If the fluid is VERY low then you will have other problems.

No pressure, overheat, electronic error.
