UPDATE:
Got to use the MB blower last week and quite frankly I can't see myself ever returning to towel/blot drying. Great power - took about 5-7 minutes to fully push the water off the car. The unit is big, but not too big and works significantly better then the previous Vac and Blo I was using. An expensive price tag sure, but worth it IMO. If you are seriously meticulous about keeping your cars paint tip top, and swirl free - this is another must have addition IMO. |

I used my buddies master blaster this weekend and my leaf blower is WAY better. After using the master blaster I can't figure out why it exists? I guess because people who have never used a leaf blower buy it?
It takes much longer to dry the car with the master blaster because it pushes much less air. The master blaster is a pain in the ass because it wheels around on the ground and you have to pull it around being careful not to run it into the car and scratch it. The leaf blower is also much more convenient because with the long nozzle you can reach around the car and get to the middle of the roof, hood, etc much easier. Whereas with the master blaster you have to stretch and lean against the car. I would say even if you buy the cheapest leaf blower you can find it will be better than the master blaster but I ended up getting one better than the cheapest Toro. |

i have the blaster only (not a vac) and i love it. i made a dolly with wheels so i can just drag it around for convenience.
i used to use a leaf blower which worked fine too. its all about budget and if it is worth it to you for something that is better but not by much. |

If your leaf blower works well - more power to you.
Am simply providing my opinion of performance of this tool, which I think is fantastic. Blows the car dry in a timely fashion. Purchased a metro bag made for the blower that I use for transporting it from garage to home. I couldn't picture washing my car without it. By no means should you bash this product, because it is truly a tool I could not deal without. If you have and choose to use a leaf blower, by all means go for it. On the contrary if you have, or choose to purchase a master blaster unit I can from personal experience guarantee you will not be disappointed. Hope this helps anyone in the decision making process |

Would you guys recommend an electric blower over a gas powered one? Money is tight for me ATM, and I found an inexpensive Toro at Sears for $75. Might start off with that for now. If anyone wants the link...

Do not use gas blower on your car they can spit oil and fuel out and onto the paint. Electric only.
