These trays are in-stock and shipping from Mporium BMW in Texas!
Our Mporium undertrays are the original flat panel solution for the replacement of damaged 2008-2013 M3 felt undercarriage shields. This design was originated years ago by enthusiasts and every aspect of its design is a solution to a problem observed in the factory parts or other aftermarket panels. These fit all 2008-2013 M3's, even cars with superchargers, aftermarket bumpers, or lip splitters. We are so confident in our solution that we will replace your undertray for free (just pay shipping) if you ever damage your undertray beyond use (extends to original purchasers only). These are 100% made in Texas by us here at Mporium BMW from USA sourced materials and labor. Includes all OEM and stainless steel hardware, plus the drill bit required for installation. They are CNC cut from domestic 1/8" thick 5052 aluminum sheet, powder coated in a durable long lasting sand texture black finish, and hand assembled and packed at our brick-and-mortar shop www.mporiumbmw.com. PRICES $400 local pick up $440 Shipped to Continental USA $460 Shipped to CANADA, HI, AK, PR For other international orders requiring a special shipping quote, you may contact me directly at mporiumbmw@yahoo.com Please include your phone number. To purchase via Paypal, PM me your email and I will send an invoice that you can click on to pay. Alternatively, domestic orders can now be placed directly from our official website: https://mporiumbmw.com/product/mpori...-2008-2013-m3/ These undertrays replace the three stock felt pieces that cover the front underbelly of the M3. The fragile OEM parts extend 2" below the front bumper in some areas which subjects them to damage over short periods of time, often ripping out the nut plates and mounting points that secure that factory parts. Many owners have been driving around with damaged or missing felt components which hamper the structural, aerodynamic, and cooling functions of the car as originally designed. On top of being nearly indestructible, Our flat aluminum undertrays do not extend below the bumper which, for lowered cars, yields a huge benefit of not having to cringe every time you drive over minor highway defects and debris. This tray holds the front bumper and fender liners together in a much more solid manner than even brand new factory parts. This is the felt assembly (three parts) that our one piece tray replaces, which cost over $430 MSRP and due to their soft material will be replaced many times over the life of the car: 51757899820, 51757896419, 51757896420 Our original design is a replacement aluminum tray which is intended to be a one-time upgrade for the life of the car. Covered by our *LIFETIME GUARANTEE*, we promise it will be the last time your undertray will be replaced. FAQ: Q:Do you have to cut anything or modify the car? A:NO! Modifying the factory bumper is not necessary, and the undertray can be used with every aftermarket lip that attaches to the outside of the bumper cover. Some aftermarket lips with functional brake ducts might require notching the undertray to clear their ductwork. Q:Does this undertray affect cooling? A:Yes! Cooling is improved compared to operation with damaged or missing felt components. Air ducting for the oil cooler is 100% maintained and far more resistant to flexing and airflow leakage under speed than OEM. In addition, the bumper openings on either left and right side bumper flank allow cooling air to reach hot brakes and exhaust components. Q:Does this undertray affect aero? A: Yes, inherent to its different style than OEM. While we weren't able to get BMW to lend us their air tunnel, after selling hundreds of these we have not had any reports of negative aerodynamic tendencies.. Aero is far worse off by running damaged or missing felts panels. This tray closes the cooling channels and secures the bumper cover and fender liners from movement. Most customers note immediate reductions in oil temperatures and a generally "tighter" road feel at high speeds. Q:What do the screws tap into? The tray doesn't come pre-drilled? A: Every car is slightly different and dimensions may have shifted or been altered since original manufacture. Locating and drilling your own holes with the provided bit allows for a perfect fit for every car. Other designs with pre-installed rivet nuts (aka Rivnuts) use aftermarket bolts and can dislodge, seize, or strip over time, causing you to pull your hair out. We believe that a slightly thicker panel is best here as it allows the included OEM screws to tap directly into the undertray panel. Versions made from thinner aluminum use Rivnuts out of necessity because the material is too thin to reliably hold threads. Q:Why is it flat and not profiled like the OEM or other aftermarket versions? It looks like it would cost less to make. A:Every feature of this tray is a solution to a problem presented by the OEM parts or other aftermarket options. The tall 3d profile of the OEM style assembly is what makes them prone to ground and road hazard contact. Any design duplicating the OE shape will suffer from the same issue. Rigidly mounted frame braces (as some designs feature) also increases damage potential when the inevitable road strike occurs. Our design removes the risk of ground contact, road hazard impact, and allows just enough flexibility to prevent the severity of peripheral damage to the undertray, bumper, etc in case of an accident. As for price- our costs have increased over the last two years without an increase in product price. Our part is made in USA with American materials and labor at higher cost than importing from an Asian factory. Q:Are there lighter options on the market? A:Yes. Some designs choose to use a thinner aluminum at a lower cost. With thinner material, less protection is provided as well as less overall support of the bumper and fender liners. Furthermore, thinner designs require the use of pre-located nut-serts because they're too thin to hold threads. Nut-serts in this location are known to sieze, strip, or spin and if their location doesn't line up for your car, you're left to your own devices. Our design's thickness was intentional with appropriate rigidity designed to allow the right amount of flex in case of running up on a parking curb or road hazard, , plus withstand most day-to-day impacts without suffering bends. The 1/8" thick undertray allows you to drill and tap your own screw locations or add as many as you'd like for additional security of aftermarket lips. Many will consider the minimal weight penalty is outweighed by the increased durability and long term serviceability. Q: What about hardware, is it included? A: All hardware comes with our undertray, including extra OEM self tapping screws- nothing else is required. All other hardware unique to our undertray is stainless steel and will not rust or corrode over time.. We even include a new drill bit to assist in a frustration free installation, which takes about 30 minutes with basic tools. Color installation instructions are included. Q: Do you offer specials or discounts? A: We are the manufacturer and only source for our original undertrays. We offer them year-round at a consistently low price. No coupons or group buys needed. interesting piece
how much do these weigh? I'm thinking these would also provide a way to install mechanical connection to the frame of the car to stabilize the downforce of a front splitter. I see a lot of droopy front bumpers at the track.....

Thanks guys!
Yes! It does require that you reuse the original "self tapping" screws from the original felt set, but the new hardware specific to this part is included. If you don't have all the screws from your original belly pans please be sure to tell me, I can probably round up some used ones. Or I can supply a new set as well. Quote:

Just received mine today. Quality of this piece looks top notch! Not flimsy at all! This will definitely be able to take a significant impact. Can't wait till next week when I get my car into my bodyshop for install, also getting a few other goodies installed, so might as well let them put this on at the same time because..... laziness

I have no problem shipping internationally, but I have not found a reasonable price through the usual channels. Being a one piece design, it is too long to ship through our economically priced postal system. Therefore it requires FedEx, DHL, UPS etc and their rates are not as reasonable. If you have a connection or can use a forwarding company then by all means reach out to me. I'm happy to ship several over to share the shipping costs with EU buyers if someone over their wants to distribute them.

If anyone knows of any freight forwarders that can ship this sized product to NZ, then let me know. Would love to get my hands on one of these replacements for my M3! However, the shipping costs I have been quoted so far are far too much!

Seriously, I bought one of these from the first production batch (before deansbimmer started making them) and it's a must have in my opinion. It's easier to install, remove, install etc when servicing your M3.

I have to say, this product is fantastic! Thanks!! We had to modify the driver side a little to make room for my intake for my VF Supercharger in my front bumper, but I am extremely happy with the product and the car feels much more grounded as to when I was running with no undertray. Quality product!!

Free bump. Been running one of these undertray from the first run for some time now. It's taken a few high speed whacks already and doesn't even have scuffs to show! This is a "one-and-done" solution.
