Jerez Black pictures

Is there an official Jerez Black thread?

I just got an 08, E90. It's an interesting color. I'll add picture later, but would love to see what yours look like

there was a sticky for colors now all i see is the individual colors.

good shots you can see the contrast well sometimes it looks really blue and others like jet black.

those shots taken at night are not good quality pictures, they were taken with an iphone but I was trying to show the contrast as you well stated

When it is sunny and bright outside you can see the blue

. The first two pics are on a sunny day. The last pic is on a cloudy day its black

You really have to see it in person, in a variety of light circumstances, and the car has to be clean. Pictures just don't do justice to jerez black, at least not the kind of quality of pictures most people take. I have an 08 E90 M3 in jerez black and sometimes it catches my eye and sometimes it does not. Almost like it has a little personality.

It is very hard thou to keep it nice and clean. What products do you use, and how long does it take you?

for anyone with Jerez Black, I am willing to buy your body trim (mirror cover, trunk lip spoiler, hood vent, etc). I have an AW but trying to do a unique color scheme.
why not let me take these parts off your hands if you no longer need them because you upgraded to a different color (CF, matte, etc)

I couldn't agree more, but when clean, Jerez Black looks amazing. I picked up the Meguiar's Complete Car Care Kit from Amazon. It has almost everything you need to make your car really shine.

The kit plus a Meguiar's X3080 EvenCoat Applicator, Meguiar's X2020 Supreme Shine Microfiber, and TurtleWax Miracle Towel are what I've used the last two washes.

I typically spend about 2.5 hrs on the wash & wax.

I use Swissvax Blau Weiss wax every 2 months, it takes 2-3 hours applying the Swissvax Fluid Cleaner and Blau Weiss wax, I wash it every weekend, as stated by several members it is hard to keep it clean but worth it all the way!

I get tons of compliments of the color. Some people thought it was a special color. I love cleaning my car so no issue with it being dirty.
