Originally Brushed aluminum.

I will need your trim to replace this trim for the sale.
Send me your trim, I will package this up and send back to you.

Is hydro dipping where they submerge the part and it picks up the material which is floating on the surface?

That is correct.
The trim pieces were sanded and prepped, dipped then clear coated and buffed.

The rear is still the aluminum because it is of the type with the deep grooves and it would clash horribly with the graphics without a lot of filler and prep work.
