8:57 BTG Nurburgring

This is from Sunday, the traffic was heavy as you can tell. I can only imagine what the time would have been without traffic. This is my best lap yet after some coaching tips from great friends.

I am currently running the Stage 2 from BPM along with their DCT software.

Nice! It will probably take me triple that time during my first run there in a few weeks.

It was an Opel or something like that. These cars can move with the right drivers. I was a bit timid to pass him a majority of the time because he was very aggressive and wouldn't let me pass initially. You have to be careful for those kind of drivers. They cause accidents if the drivers behind them are too aggressive. Those E46's are really something though, good drivers.

Nice driving man! How well do you know the track? I feel like when I play it on Gran Turismo there's some pretty sneaky corners in which I crash my car lol

I feel as if I know the track fairly well. I have about 100 plus laps, I just need to get more comfortable with the car in certain areas. A lot of the turns are sneaky, I just have learned to memorize those the most. I use GT5 for memorization before going, great tool prior to tracking. I just don't use it for a line or speeds.

The DCT software was great, very clean and fast shifts. The downshifting on the software I think is the greatest benefit of it. When I needed to drop 2 or more gears it was so fast, no more lag for this guy! You really will enjoy this software for daily driving and tracking the most.

Depending on mods you are at least 40 seconds to slow... A bone stock M3 with manual can turn 8.05... But keep at it...

Bone stock with a professional driver... Good effort I thought but you might be able to do closer to 8:05?
