To each his own, but to be honest, I think silver looks sick on this car and not to also mention classy. I haven't really noticed many silver M's listed, but haven't searched a whole lot either.

My wife has a nice Nikon camera we can get better pictures if someone is interested. I just snapped these photos with my Samsung S7 to get it listed on here. Thought the pics came out decent.

Thanks for the compliments on the car guys.

Let me know where you're searching for M3s... Practically every one that I find is AW, followed by Jerez, and it would be nice to get away from that. (I wish the major auto search engines and apps had an "exclude color" option. If I did I'd exclude AW and probably get only 5 cars out of a nationwide search.)

I've been searching to find a LeMans Blue car to add to my existing M3. My car is SGM, and it was one of only 3 that I found in a year of searching in my year range (2011-2013). Silverstone II is far rarer, and its not exactly "silver" to be sure, since it seems to have a faint pale blue character in certain light.

I will admit that there seems to be a few more SSII cars than usual, on this forum of late.

I find way fewer SSII listed than AW and Jerez, in general. It's a really unique color that has slight changes in color in different lighting conditions.

A SSII shows the lines of the M3 sooo well with a shadowy look, esp when sun is going down or under artificial light. Drool worthy.

GLWS OP! Clean car, esp interior

Not for me.

It was on my short list with alpine white and Melbourne red.

I would have bought this car had I still been in the market and if it had a car roof.

Great car, glws

Yup having owned an AW and MW car (neither my first choice) SS is a super classy color. Not shouty but looks great with the black contrasting bits. My brother sold his SS E39 M5 years ago and I still regret not buying it.

Appreciate all the love guys and I have to agree, this silver looks awesome on the M3. I get tons of compliments on it when I do get a chance to take it out.

BTW, I have been contacted about it and we have worked out a deal, just waiting on him to get the arrangements going. Looks as though it will have a new home soon and hopefully have the same love and care for it as I did, yet get the chance to enjoy it more than I was able to.

I think Silverstone looks great with the black wheels. I'm trying to sell my daily driver on CL right now and hopefully this is still available when i'm ready.

Agreed!

I'll PM you if this sale falls through for whatever reason. Should know something Monday, due to the holidays and banks being closed.
