Self Service Car Washes in SoCal
Looking for good Self-Service Car Washes in SoCal, in addition to the thread on Laser Car Washes.
If you search the Internet or youtube you will be jealous how nice some of Self-Service Car Washes are around the USA and around the World, compared to LA/CA. Some are in-door and heated during the winter. It is also important to have an air compressor option to blow water out of the crevices. It is sometimes called an Air Squeegee. Poor guy needs a bigger microfiber drying towel and/or leaf blower. Drying agent like P&S Beadmaker would be a good idea. The one thing I am looking for is a Self-Service Car Wash that might let you bring your own pressure washer wand and foam cannon, so you can use your own advanced auto detailing products. Also look for a self-service car wash that takes credit cards. Most sites only accept small bills and coins...I thought it was 2020. There is a nicer self-service car wash in Hawthorne, CA on Inglewood Ave across from Al-Watan, a good Pakistani/Indian restaurant. - $1 Car Wash on Inglewood Ave in Hawthorne (Look for Google Reviews and photos -- no website) http://zeavycarwash.com/ Burbank off the I5!! -- Bring your own leaf blower or large microfiber drying towels Zeavy Car Wash 520 S Victory Blvd, Burbank, CA 91502 Please add more... I use the Jamboree car wash here in OC. On google it is going to show up as drive through wash but they have around 6 bays for the self-service. All bays have the compressed air blower.

Hey Guys,
Washing my car in my building is very tough (no access to a hose), and the city is pretty strict above washing cars in general. I've read about the bucket system, however, it looks like I would still need a hose to rinse the car off. The alternative aside from having it professionally cleaned is going to a self service car wash. I've always taken my car detailing bethesda md, but recently went to a self service wash once and didn't know what the hell I was doing :-). I basically just rinsed the car off/got it professionally cleaned the next day so I didn't cause any damage. The local self service wash locations have signs saying no bucket washing, so I was wondering if there are any best practices for places like this (or not even going at all). Is it better to bring my own products, are there any good videos showing the best way to clean cars at these places, etc.? Any advice would be really appreciated. Thanks a lot. - Then use a mobile detailer that can do a foam canon near touchless wash. You would meet at a friend's house or their depot/home. - Find a nearby Laser Car Wash that is touchless in between mobile details. It is usually a gas station (Chevron) car wash instead of a private car wash with huge brushes and workers with cheap wax and dirty rags. Cheers |
