been talking to a few manufacturers. this one I like is pretty busy and would be able to build a sample in 2-3 weeks. if all goes well, it'd be very affordable.

I'm going with an electronic valve only instead of the vacuum option.

How much would 'very affordable' be?

I would have to wait and see the pricing depending on quantity. But I would assume around $1500

I have the Evolve valvetronic and although it sounds wonderful with valves open and closed and has zero drone over 2200 rpm, it isn't loud and I always drive with it on loud.

I'd like 'loud' to be 'loud'.

The current Z06 is completely quiet with the valves closed, yet when open it blows your ear drums out with pure glorious v8 sound

well it could be dependent on x pipe and catless or not also. I'm trying to get a good balance with stock x pipe, but have it really open with an x pipe

Exactly. And this is my custom RPI x pipe with multiple resonators as well.

Talking to all these manufactures, it's funny to see the branded products of companies we all buy from as samples

For people curious. I'm doing an Electronic Valve and not a Vacuum Valve. Vacuum valves are actually cheaper. And you'll see that the electronic valved exhausts on the market for our car are using the more bulky electronic cutouts (Meistershaft & Evolve). This will harbor the newer ones that look much more flush with the piping

Do you guys know if 89mm tips will fit with a diffuser? I'm opting to test the 76mm tips, but maybe get a set of 89mm to see if it'll fit

89mm is WAY too big.
The biggest I know that could fit are 80mm if you stack them side by side with a diffuser.
My friend with a Gintani exhaust had to get rid of his diffuser because it wouldn't fit.

Yeah that's what I thought. Problem is the 80mm and 83mm tips are hard to find because it's an abnormal size. And to make the exhaust still affordable you don't want to spend a bunch extra on making perfect tips

Have the shop that's fabbing the exhaust for you to do matching tips.
