Bilstein B16 Damptronic (EDC) Coilovers / Vorshlag Camber plates/ AKG endlinks

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
USD 2,800.00

Or Best Offer

Item Interest
Im now selling my beloved Bilsteins. THIS IS NOT A HAS KIT. These are height adjustable coilovers with factory controlled electric dampening.

Ive driven my fair share of E9x with coilovers and these are hands down my favorite street coilovers. To my knowledge, these are the only coilovers available that work with the factory EDC functions.
-Comfort: great for commuting or bumpy roads while still being sporty
-Sport: my default for most twisties and spirited driving.
-Sport+: noticeably stiffer and great for higher speed dampening and technical corners.

My car is fully solid/spherical and i get compliments all of the time for how great the ride is. Ive really loved these coilovers and having the ability to switch dampening with the push of a button. My car is turning more into a track tool than a daily driver so ive ordered some nitrons (thanks OG Shark ) and saying goodbye to my EDC.

Ive only put about 5k miles on them, no leaks, damage or issues of any kind.
They will remain in my car till the new setup arrives so you can come for a test drive if youd like.
These are phenominal coilovers for those who want an OEM+ coilover thats comfortable on the street and very capable for light track work.

Asking $2800 obo

For $3000 ill include:
-Vorshlag camber plates
-Dinan rear shock mounts
-AKG front endlinks
($700+ retail)

If im not mistaken, these are still on indefinite back order and retail for $3400+ shipping/tax.

Will get pics soon.
For now, ive attached a pic of my ride height. The front is just about as low as it can go but the rear has more adjustability.

You have any experience with the Ohlins R&T? Trying to decide between these the Ohlins, and I'm torn.

Ive driven on both. the R/T is def a great street coilover but i still feel the full stiff of the R/T isnt as stiff as the B16s and comfort mode is a bit more comfortable than the R/Ts. I attribute a lot of the B16s comfort to the progressive springs they come with, you kind of get the best of both worlds. Plus having the ability to change the dampening with a button is truly amazing. Even a brand new E9x comp EDC feels like a small change in tire pressure in comparison to the B16s dampening modes.

I really tried my hardest to find a replacement set of coilovers that retained EDC but it seems Tractive stopped making the E9X kit, ive heard mixed reviews about KW DDC (if its even still available) and Nitron has EDC coilovers in the works but they wont be out for a while.

If the B16s had a little more height adjustment (shock travel mainly) and could run linear springs easily, i would 1000% keep them. I was originally planning on swapping to stiffer linear springs but i decided its prob smarter to just sell them and get proper track setup instead of swapping springs and potentially damaging the dampers.

Hmm where did you hear this? Let me check also.

Edit - Lucase83 works for TracTive. I've asked for his comment in this thread - https://www.m3post.com/forums/showth...9#post31109409

Are these e90 specific or will they work with e92 as well?

All E9X M suspension + drivetrain components are the same. i think the only parts that are actually different between the two chassis are the fenders, hood and stock muffler (hence why most aftermarket mufflers have adjustable length tips)

Cool cool, I'm definitely considering this. I was wanting to wait a few more months, for financial reasons. But this is a great deal.
Side note, what's with all the scammers? I've gotten 3 scam DMs since posting that I'm interested in this...

I thought the E93 was different spring rates due to the extra weight.

Oh yea, i always forget about the e93. I cant speak for them as i immediately loose interest in anything that comes in convertible form. (no offense) I dont even like sunroofs (working on eliminating mine).
