No shit. I don't like to think of how much I spend on a weekend. My Chumpcar weekends wind up being cheaper and were turning way more laps.
I'm blocking this site on my wife's laptop.

Car consumable cost per track day:
Tires (NT01): $1600/10=$160
Front Brake Pads (PF08) $300/6=$50
Rear Brake Pads (PF08) $300/12=$25
Front Brake Rotors $400/40=$20
Gas $150
TOTAL: $400

Cost for a 2 day event (to compare with M school)
Registration $600
Hotel $200
Food: $100

Total for a 2 day event: $1300

Still quite less expensive than ///M School, especially if you get hooked and start doing it regularly .
what size nt01s are you running? are they that much more for you in canada. i just paid about 1000 for 4 (275-38-18s) and they were heat cycled.

I am running the same size as you 275/35-18.

And yes, we do get screwed for tires up here in Canada . The tires are more expensive plus we have 15% sales tax here in Quebec .

Then again you have pretty much paid this cost or more upfront.

OP, VIR and Summit Point should be near you. DelVal BMW CCA is holding a 3 day HPDE at Summit April 20,21,22. It's a great event including skidpad time. We usually run on Jefferson in one direction one day, other direction the next and then on Summit Point Main track the 3rd day. If you want more info PM me.

From my experience, the 2nd day of M School is where I learned the most because I was then able to hone the new skills I learned the first day.

OP, Good Luck!

Chris
