Um, no you wouldn't. You can't buy a new M5 right now.

I'm 22 and chose the e90 over the e92. I don't understand why this is turning to a vs. thread. Are those ZCP wheels or GTS wheels? From my understanding the GTS had ZCP style wheels but were lighter, no?

I would have loved to see a modern interpretation of the E36 M3 Lightweight paintjob.

This look is kinda boring, just looks like every modded M3 on the forum with blacked out wheels.

I'm glad that the E90 is getting a special variant. It looks good! Let's hope that the weight figures are deserving of the "lightweight" designation.

Really? Does it completely elude you as to why someone would pick a 3 over a 5 series, or a 5 over a 6 series? The E90 M3 is an M3, the M5 isn't. M5-to-M6 is analogous to E90 M3-to-E92 M3.

The M3 handles better and is infinitely more rewarding to drive, while at the same time costing less than an M5. If a DRIVER wants genuine M3 performance and feel, but also prefers to have four doors, doesn't the M3 sedan seem like the obvious choice for that driver? The M5 offers more room and also four doors, but simply can't provide the same "feel". The E92 M3 does offer the same "feel" as the E90 M3, but doesn't offer four doors.

The E90 M3 isn't any "better" than an M5 or E92 M3, it simply offers a unique and perfectly valid combination of desirable traits.

Lets make it easier for you... Why did YOU buy an E92 M3 over an M6? quite possibly for the exact same reason that some of US bought E90 M3s over M5s.

Um, yes I would. 2010..... because there's not a new one right now, M5s cease to exist?

Yes, this was covered on the previous page. Thank you for reiterating it. I like the M5 better than the M3 Sedan. I like the feel of the M5, I also like the feel of my M3 coupe. I'm sure I'd like the feel of the M3 sedan, but don't like the look of it. You don't feel the same. Great. Issue addressed.

Yes, moving on now...

Any sorts of details on this car yet? Wonder what that spoiler is made of, definitely not CF.

Completely agree. Exactly what I had in my mind. I drive E92, prefer it well over E90. But it's up to your needs and feelings if 4-door version is better for personal use - E90 is perhaps the next best car after E92M3 IMO. M5 is bulky, far less involving and clearly in different class.

I still can't understand why to use sedan in LWT-project basis instead of coupe. There's even no CF roof...

I don't think so. This seems much darker than IB. I really like it, especially with black wheels.

IB is dark if photos taken inside, even with some flash. I'm 99% sure this is IB, at least it looks like it 1:1.

I think your right however it sure looks like the old Mystic Blue E46 M3 color that I used to have. Either way it's pretty sweet.

EDIT: I take that back, after a second look the hue from some of the pics does resemble Interlagos Blue, especially the pic where the license plate LEDs are shining over the paint.
