M3 center console cupholder differences?

I have this cupholder (sorry for the terrible photo):

I'd like to know which M3's get this cupholder instead:

Please post if you have the second and your production date/countries or if you can offer some quick insight.

I have an 2008 and I'd very much like to swap out the center consoles to the bigger center storage tray/cupholder area so that I can put my cell phone there because it would be much better than having a seperate mount. In the 335i you have a very big and long space and my phone fits there perfectly and lets me see the nav screen app very well so I'd like to still have that.

Yeah that makes perfect sense because the holes match the new i-drive controller. You win an iternet!
