Vids of Akra Slip-on with Gintani Xpipe & HFCs

Had a few requests for this so here are some quick ones. I really like this setup. Very unobtrusive inside the car. Sorry about the quality but I can't figure out how to HD quality video on youtube. All I have are .mts files. I'll work on this...

I don't think there is much difference. I already owned the gintani so it wasn't worth it to me to make the switch given my understanding of the power difference.

As much as I hate to admit it - yes or at least it was too much for my tastes. Still, the full Gintani sport setup was the best sounding exhaust (and most likely made more power)I've had but for me it was too much to live with on a daily basis.

Barry that looks and sounds great. I plan on a 255/35/19 front and 285/30/19 rear. What spacer size are you running?

Hey Dave,

Thanks for the compliment! I've tried (front/rear) 12/5, 12/10, 10/none and settled on the 10/none. I think the 12/10 would work for you or definitely 10/5. For me I had some very minor rubbing(so minor that I couldn't find where they rubbed when I had the wheels off) under fully loaded car but my tires are taller than yours.

I would have liked to gone with 10/5 but the 5mm spacer I have has no lip and the wheels are chamfered and I was worried that there is not enough hub lip with the 5mm spacer to keep the wheels properly centered so I took it off.

Let me know what you do.

Thanks!

Thanks Barry,

I don't know if I would even bother with a 5mm spacer for the rear then. Actually the rears without spacers already look pretty flush especially when you run a 285 rear. Car looks great...isn't MR a great color. Reminds me so much of Imola but with a nice fine metallic touch during daylight hours.

Dave

You are so right! My son is giving me a ton of grief about it! He's a bad influence especially given he's not footing the bill! I'd love to - just got to scrape together the $$$.

Thanks Raz!

What's wrong with AA? Are you talking about the X-Pipe or the muffler?
