Is there different steering settings like this? I'd like my steering feel to be a bit more stiff.

So I need some help. For some strange reason, I can't get the MDYNAMIC_MODE_USA change to take. NCSExpert claims that it worked, but when I go back to read it again, it's still set to activ. Here's my MAN file:

RPA
nicht_aktiv
M3_BAUART
wert_03
M3_GETRIEBE
wert_00
M3_UEBERSTEUERN_MUE_0
wert_03
M3_UEBERSTEUERN_MUE_1_2
wert_03
MDYNAMIC_MODE_USA

M3_PRE_MSR

LENKWINKELKENNLINIE
wert_02
wert_03
LAT_EBD
nicht_aktiv
US_VEHICLE
nicht_aktiv
POHO

DDS_PLUS
nicht_aktiv

I can read all the modules fine. I'm using the one-stop cable, so that should be good. I'm using a VM image called "*********V3" that I grabbed from e90post. All indications point to the coding working, but alas the settings don't take.

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Figured it out. NCSExpert expertmode profile was not set up to write from the MAN file.

How would I go about making this change? Is it worth it with a ZCP Coupe?

Any experienced coder can do it quickly. It's definitely a pretty big difference, well worth it!

I find it made a VERY big difference with the adjusted coefficients. It?s surprisingly fun even with MDM now, whereas before it would cut everything off at the slightest hint of wheelspin...

Also wondering the same. I feel like there is a lot that can be done if we could "re-program" the dsc settings. it controls so many different things, in addition to the traction control system....

Curious if someone with this experience can adjust these settings in my car.

Edit: Will go to BPMSport

Are these DSC module settings independent of transmission type, i.e. DCT versus manual? I ask because of the "!" or "not" operand associated with "wert_02" implying "not" MAN or not manual or am I reading that wrong?

no each of these "wert" values carry a certain value to the ecu in question which is the dscmk60. the dsc unit itself processes information from the entire car, torque, engine revs, throttle position, these values ultimately just control what the dsc is doing and what its outputting to the wheels and engine to keep you from crashing the car.

Excuse the way I phrased the question but what I meant was can these same exact values be used on a 6MT as on a DCT car when adjusting the DSCMK60 module to get the same Euro MDM mode benefits?
