Unhappy ConnectedDrive?

Hi all; So BMW retrofitted my M3 with the new 4G Combox and everything in the system shows that is ready but when they try to make a call to BMW Assist it just hang on there. I got Recaros Sportsters CS Seats which the Restraint Malfunction got coded out. The dealer told me that they need to factory reset all the modules on the car for The new Combox to work.

Has any of you ran into this before? Is not possible to just reset the modules that works with Connecteddrive by it self?

I don't want the car factory reset due to the Seats because the fault will come back and I don't feel like paying $300 for just coding out my Seats.

Can someone with knowledge point me in the right direction.

Unfortunately I don't have the answer to your question, but I'm curious about the 4G combox retrofit. Did you buy the combox through the dealer or elsewhere? How much did it run you?

I am interested in the retrofit details as well.

How is the new speed? What was the cost and time required?
