I can appreciate the work and the vision that went into this, but I'm still not a big fan of this kit. Every time I see one, the only thing I keep thinking is, "Damn, those wheels look *tiny*"! Execution is excellent, but not my cup of tea, I guess.
That said, has it been dyno'ed yet? |

I think ESS went with a "go big or go home" mentality for this project and they surely don't seem to have cut the corners, but still, I'm not a big fan of the Liberty kit either! Though I think shaving the bolts on the flares like this guy did helps to create a cleaner look!
In any case, this ESS project has all the chances to become the greatest/fastest e9x ever built and I just can't wait to see it destroy other cars(like the Gintani twin turbo) on the Airstrip! Last edited by Alex07M3; 05-20-2014 at 02:03 PM.. |

We needed a widebody so that we could run a very agressive wheel / tire and felt the Liberty Walk was the best design for our needs. Our build is really focused around performance and not soo much style. This is why we are using 18" race wheels, higher suspension ride height etc.. and not really focused on the bling factor. When the car is raced it will be setup different than it is for shows. We have done custom paint and we will do a few other small details to make the car look good but there are other Liberty Walk builds that do a much better job than ours in terms of style like Powerbeast and others
