Rear pads not making full contact

I’m currently at the track and only now noticed that one of my rear pads isn’t making full contact on the rear rotor.

I replaced the pads to HPC08 and also changed the rear rotors at the same time.

This is only on the rear left rotor. I can’t see the inside side of the rotor currently.

EDIT: Adding additional information. That is from ~20 mi city driving, 100 mi hwy driving (minimal brakes), and 3x 20min sessions on the track. Hoping to be able to get the car jacked up so I can take a look at the pads.

Maybe the pad binding on something. If you have the anti-rattle clip installed, I'd remove it also.

The anti rattle clip being the metal spring/clip that you have to pry off on the outward facing side of the caliper? Are there any drawbacks other than the pads now being able to rattle?

Solved. Rattling clip wasn’t seated correctly. Hopefully the pads wear back evenly

It probably won't and will damage the sliding pins. I'd probably buy new pads and a new rattling clip for good measure.
