Coilover Kit - what’s not included
I want to buy the ohlins road and track kit and I’m not clear what I will need beyond what’s included in the kit.
I see a lot of people opt for camber plates, adjustable toe links etc. But what is actually needed? |

The Ohlins are designed to re use the stock top hats but camber plates can be added. Other than that nothing else is needed.
I went with the Ground Control plates on mine.

Agree with all of the above. Ground control camber plates pair nicely with the Öhlins kit. They include mounting hardware for the rear upper mounts to accomadate with EDC and non-EDC cars. Another nice addition to make alignment easier is to add toe arms in the rear as well as camber shims. The factory parts use an eccentric bolt which is a little clumsy. Switching to adjustable arms improves upon this.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

Thanks!
Is there any extra noise or vibration with the toe arms? .
