Agreed it sounds awesome. Gonna look awesome painted in all gloss black to match the grills and trim.

Test Pipes this thing will probably be crazy loud. Hopefully the group buy moves quick with lots of buyers so we can get this thing installed and save a little.

my V2 prototype sounds really good with test pipes. even though this is the v3 I don't think you'll be disappointed. Also with test pipes it's not as loud as the video.

I have the v2. With test pipes closed is quieter that test pipe plus stock exhaust. If you're local you can hear it.

Can't even hear downshifts quiet. I have no carpet and all I hear is transmission noises.

My personal pref would be more sportier than factory sounding closed and really aggressive open.

Say MPE+ closed and race style open.

When it's open it gets more and more aggressive as you drive that way. Drive calm and it's not boomy or droney. I drive open 100% unless I see a cop or I'm in my residential area.

I'm looking to drive closed with a healthy sportiness think eisenmam sport or MPE on steroids, or corsa where the exhaust isn't always-on. Valve open it can be what it wants and definitely nothing I drive around with. It has to be good at spirited driving when closed and elegant and aggressive open.

IMHO, valves open is a place to visit, not a place to live.

Meh. Preference changes depending on who you talk to, so there's no way this product will satisfy each and every type of buyer. That's just impossible. For those whose needs it meets, it'll be a great alternative to the more pricier options that are all that's been available for a while. In that regard, major props to OP for coming through on this.

Sorry about the lag on the group buy! It'll be opened this week.

And yes it's hard to have everyone's preference in 1 model. I tried my best to accommodate.

The price for the rear in the group buy will be about $1750.
The x pipe pricing is not available yet, but it will go along the lines of not breaking the bank. It will be discounted for people that have purchased the rear in the group buy. Obviously HFC makes the price significantly higher, but i'm going to keep it as low as possible.

The location will most likely be how Akra does it in the same location as the secondaries. And be either a 100cell or 200cell cat. With resonators at the end.
Definitely the best option for Hfc's.
Also, look into the MRF Velaforza XPipe design. That was a very limited production item but always yielded the most gains.

We're 4 away from the top tier discount. If there's enough people in it, I will end up throwing in free shipping most likely.

For anyone that is wondering what kind of warranty is included. Here's the basic info:

Bomiz brand exhausts: Tubing, welding, flex areas, valves (non-electrical components): 2 Years

Electronics / Electronic Components found on any product: One year

Catalytic Converters One Year

Tip finish defects: One year

Great!

Thinking ahead, any more details on how the product works? For example:
- Does the exhaust default to starting up with valves open, closed, or stays at what it previously was it?
- Can the valves be opened/closed while driving under load, or do you have to do it while stopped?

Already pledged for the group buy

the valves stay where it was previously. they don't close or open without your input. They can be opened and closed at any speed/load

Excited, don't know how much longer I can stand to drive the car without being able to hear it.
