Review of Alex @ Alpine on NA Tune

So, this is my 2nd tune on my 2008 M3. Without getting too much into it, I was pretty unhappy with my last tuner. Feel free to search for my other threads if you want a nice long read.

I reached out to several tuners/vendors over the past few weeks. I came across Alex because of the other reviews I read on him and asked for some advice in regards to tunes in general. He was super knowledgeable and took the time to answer my questions, as well as give more feedback than I expected. A few of the other vendors gave helpful replies, but by far, Alex was the most courteous and thorough. He even said he isn't trying to sell his tune and I should work with my first tuner.

Well, that didn't work out, so I told Alex I'm willing to pay him for a new tune.

He was quick in his responses, shipped out a cable to me the next day, and we started up the remote tuning.

I am absolutely and completely satisfied with his professionalism and prompt replies to every little question I had. I even held him back from his dinner with his gf, but he wanted to make sure the tune was done and running okay before letting me go late at night.

I dyno'd at 360 with test pipes, full exhaust, aa filter and my first tune. I have not dyno'd on this tune yet, but I do plan to in the near future, then I will update this thread. I will be using the same type of dyno as well just for consistency's sake.

Regardless, my butt dyno is happy. Car feels powerful and responsive. He even went and made adjustments to my tune well after he provided the initial one (and he has options as well, similar to other vendors like cold start delete, etc).

I can't say enough good things. He's a solid guy. Hell, I am going through a crazy time as my mom was recently diagnosed with cancer, and he sent flowers the day after I mentioned it.

He is reasonably priced, a responsive and knowledgeable tuner, and just a damn good guy. I'd give my money to him again in a heartbeat just because of the last part.

You should try Alex's GTS DCT Tune. It's legit.

After reading the reviews and comparisons, I'm going with Alex for my tune this coming Spring! His price is much more reasonable then other vendors and is affordable for me. I already have a hatless x pipe and I am so excited to feel even more gains with a tune. Good job and props to you, Alex.
