We had an occupation vs. M3 and Age Vs. M3 owners but let's see how much an individual makes and owns M3

Poll incoming....

Just vote your income not your better halfs. LOL!

What about the people whose parents help(ed) with the M3, how should they vote?

Most people won't admit they live at home with their parents and now you are expecting them to post their salary.... good luck.

Trouble with these polls is that a lot of people won't be truthful. It's early, but with 16 votes, 37% say they make over $200K. I'm skeptical of that.

I have a better idea for a poll. Over the life of your M3 what percent of your net yearly income have you spent on mods.

People may be more truthful, its less personal, and if you really wanted to be nosy you can back into gross income numbers.

If you want a more meaningful result, I think you need to have $100k increments up to $500k, then an above $500k category. M3 is not a cheap car, nor is it the only car for a lot of people.

There is also the fact that people are willing to spend very different percentages of their income on a car. I personally think it is ludicrous to spend more than you annual gross income on a car, yet it seems some M3 owners are doing just that.

I don't find this hard to believe at all, however I think a lot of this has to do with where you live. In socal or soflo, M3's are more common and in those "car meccas" you will have more young people living in a one bedroom apt and having a hot ride than in other parts of the country.

In the Northeast, the M3 is more likely a second or third car for most owners (AWD is preferred for practical transport in winter), so they tend to be owned by people with more wealth.

You could also ask:

How many M3 owners are married?

How many have kids?

How many smoke?

How many are democrat or republican?

Etc, etc.
