OBSESSED GARAGE: Matt buys an E92 M3

I enjoy Matt's YouTube channel called "OBSESSED GARAGE". For those of you not familiar with his channel, he's obsessed about detailing, obsessed about dialing in his vehicles and obsessed about life! He is fun and relaxing to watch and now sells detailing products, packages and solutions.

Any who....years ago he owned an E92 M3 and recently decided to buy another and do his thing to it. It's still in transit from CA to FL. Check him out, you'll be hooked!

I Like his content but he's just so monotone it's difficult to listen to. I don't like the crazy loud and obnoxious guys either (vehicle virgins) but there has to be a middle ground.

Agreed. I never watch TV, but I do find myself getting sucked into YouTube. I like what this guy has to offer, but I'm definitely not reeled in.

Just checked him out, feel the same. Videos are far longer than they have to be.

You might prefer him at 1.5x, he has a bit more energy at that speed and is still coherent. I went for 2x with subtitles then just started skipping through.
I've watched plenty of ammoNYC stuff but I just couldn't spend 42 mins watching a man detail a truck...

Same here. There's value in watching Larry's videos (ammoNYC), not sure there's much value (to me) in watching OG's videos. He has great taste in vehicles though!

I used to watch his videos much more frequently when there was better car content. Has gone off focus and too business-oriented in my opinion.

If I'm in a good mood, after watching his video I feel down somehow.

Seems like a lot of negative energy projected, like endless negative ranting about everything and anything.

Has a nice collection of cars and garage though.

I liked his content more at his old house. Also started watching because of the e92 m3. When he sold that my interest faded.

He's created some great content that I have enjoyed, interested to see what he does with the E92 as everything out there is pretty well documented already. Saying that I find the videos a touch myopic and joyless at times, the main takeaway I have from it is whatever you own you will never be happy.

6 days ago, he posted the YouTube video indicating he's selling the Raptor and picking up a "unicorn" e92 M3: "Le Mans Blue, No Nav, 6MT, Carbon roof, No PDC or Cold weather Package, Black Speed Cloth."

3 days later he posted on Instagram that he has found and purchased a car with exact specifications he wanted.

I was watching the video thinking to myself: "a car with these exact specs might not even exist". It kinda blew my mind.

I'm looking forward to seeing what he does with it.

Excited to see what Matt does with the E92 M3. I'm curious if it will eventually have the same result as the S2000. A GT3 RS does that to people.

That guy on vehicle virgins is very annoying.

Salmonboy is another irritating YouTuber

Very rare to find decent content.

Matt is a pretty salt of the earth type guy, from my dealings with him he is very genuine about his feelings towards cars, parts, detailing. I like his stuff, since even if complaining he means it from the heart, not based off others or for popularity.

I watch his videos when I can, usually I haven't been able to keep up, but happy to see he is back in an E92 M3. I'll keep an eye out for his videos on it and to see what he ends up doing to it.

I remember before he mentioned he was likely going to supercharge it.

Haven't watched much of his stuff, but he's a CrossFitter, so he gets bonus points for that.

$100 he found the car before his first post. One does not simply say they want an uber rare spec and then find it the next day.

Vehicle Virgins is a piece of shit.
